Founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Switzerland, Zenith is a Swiss luxury watch brand that adheres to the principle of a manufacture, handling every stage of watchmaking in-house. The company changed its name to "Zenith" after winning a gold medal for its pocket watch movement at the 1900 Paris World's Fair. Since then, Zenith has pursued watchmaking that blends technological innovation and aesthetics. To date, it has developed over 600 different movements, including "El Primero" and "Elite," and has won over 2,000 awards worldwide. - In 1897, the Zenith Caliber, a highly reliable movement, was born.

- In 1930, the company was selected as a supplier to public institutions such as the Swiss postal service and observatories, as well as banks, insurance companies, and the military.
- In 1954, they unveiled the Caliber 135, an innovative movement that was unmatched by any other, and won numerous chronometer awards.
- In 1967, the king of chronometry, the 5011K, was released.
- 1969: El Primero: The birth of the chronograph icon.
- In 1994, a new movement, the Elite Caliber, was unveiled. In the same year, the Chronomaster collection was launched.
- In 1999, Zenith became a subsidiary of LVMH.
