About Tiffany & Co.
Charles Lewis Tiffany opened a stationery and accessories store in New York in 1837. It then entered the jewelry business in earnest, and is now one of the world's top five jewelers, offering jewelry, watches, and even home collections. At the time, the jewelry industry was centered in Europe, and was not very well developed in the United States, but Tiffany became a jeweler recognized in Europe just over 30 years after its founding. It has become a brand that is now known to everyone, with designs such as the Atlas Clock, which is displayed in the flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York and is the model for watches and jewelry, and Tiffany Blue, known as the color of Tiffany boxes.

- 1837 Charles Lewis Tiffany opens the stationery and accessories store "Tiffany & Young" in New York.
- Around 1848, the company became a diamond distributor.
- 1851: Began manufacturing silver products. Became the first American company to adopt the sterling silver standard, setting the purity of silver at 92.5%.
- In 1853, the company name was changed to the current "Tiffany & Co." and moved to Broadway and Fifth Avenue in New York.
- 1861 The U.S. government commissioned Tiffany to design a pitcher to be presented at Abraham Lincoln's inauguration as president.
- In 1867, at the Paris World's Fair, the company became the first American company to win an award for excellence in the silverware category, making the company well-known in Europe.
- 1877 Yellow diamonds are discovered and the famous "Tiffany Diamond" is born.
- 1926 The United States government officially recognizes the platinum purity standard adopted by Tiffany & Co.
- 1967: The National Football League (NFL) adopts the Super Bowl Trophy made by Tiffany (renamed the Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy in 1970).
- 1980: Pablo Picasso's daughter, Paloma Picasso, launches a jewelry collection.
- Arrived in Japan in 1972.
- In 2001, he founded the Tiffany Foundation, a foundation that supports the art world and the protection of artistic and natural resources.
- 2013: Francesca Amfitheatrof is appointed new Design Director.
